If there is any one secret to success, it lies in the ability to get the other person's point of view and see things from their angle as well as your own.
We work weekly, or more often, with our clients. We believe in an honest, open and supportive relationship in which the coach and client honor and respect each other. Average communication is two to four telephone sessions per month. Sessions usually run from 50 to 60 minutes in length, plus unlimited communication by e-mail. However, we are flexible and you get to select how often we will meet. With today's schedules and travel, we can communicate from anywhere in the world and you can still accomplish your goals. You may be given a selection of assignments or asked to obtain more details, depending on the information you provide about your situation. All clients will be expected to do some "self-discovery" through reading material and the use of assessments. This is to help you discover ways in which you learn, communicate and routinely resolve problems. We will look at the types of people you like to work with, so you can be more discerning. You will be encouraged to unearth your strengths and weaknesses, and learn to build upon your strengths. And lastly, we will examine how you can avoid numerous management mistakes. A book purchase may be necessary. Any agreed upon assignments are expected to be completed and in our hands at least 24 hours before our next scheduled appointment.
We are paid in advance for each block of sessions. We have found that this method instills a greater commitment to the process. Group Sessions are usually negotiated through your Human Resource department and can deal with a variety of topics. For those paying for their Executive Coaching personally VISA is accepted.
We value punctuality
Time is money for both of us, so we commit ourselves to being punctual and we ask the same from our clients. If you cannot make an appointment, it can be rescheduled at no charge, as long as we receive appropriate notice.
All appointments are pre-scheduled. Some clients prefer a specific time each week, others prefer to book their appointment at the close of their session. Evening and Saturday appointments can be arranged by request.
We are available via e-mail to support and encourage you at unscheduled times when you would like to be in touch. We will attempt to answer all e-mails within 48 hours. Coaching/Mentoring is not therapy. Professional Coaches work only with clients who are healthy and recognize in themselves the need for change or more knowledge. We are not therapists, attorneys or financial planners. We live a well-rounded balanced life. We walk our talk and ask our clients to do the same. We encourage you to grow and enjoy the process. It is an intriguing journey. You will become more enthusiastic, insightful and fun to be with.
We have an international practice. Our clients work with us in person, across the country and from around the world. Our sessions are completely confidential. We do not talk about our client's issues; everything between us is confidential.
